About Jennifer
If confidence were measured in inches, I had it at fifteen.
Somewhere between growing up the new girl from serial cross-country moves, thinking perfectionism would somehow lead to perfection, believing climbing corporate ladders would lead to personal fulfillment, and navigating real life—I lost a few of those inches. And I had to learn how to stand tall again.
I’m Jennifer Lyn Estep. I’m almost six feet tall in real life—an engineer by training, strategist by trade, artist and writer at heart. I have spent years leading innovation in medtech and biopharma, building global teams, and helping bring life-changing products to patients.
Along the way, I learned that courage doesn’t come from never falling down. It comes from getting back up—again and again—and continuing to pursue what matters most.

Why Illuminous Studio?
Created in 2003 with a simple camera and a love for creating original art, I founded ILLUMINOUS STUDIO to combine my creative endeavors.
Illuminous Studio is the place I created to share my art, writing, and photography.
All photography and art are original by me, Jennifer Lyn Estep, inspired by light, color, and landscapes around the world.
My life and art are rooted in the belief that the more we lift others, the more we find our own confidence, meaning, and joy in life.
Illuminous Studio grew out of the belief that art, writing, and leadership all begin with courage, curiosity, and heart.
